Does AIAdopt use cookies?

No, or at least as few as possible. We respect your privacy and have deliberately chosen an approach that places no unnecessary cookies.

Web analytics without cookies

AIAdopt uses Pirsch Analytics to track visitor statistics. Pirsch places no cookies. To count visits without following people, Pirsch calculates a hash from your IP address, your user agent, the date and a salt that differs per website. The IP address itself is not stored. Because the date and that site-specific salt go into the calculation, a visitor can be recognised for at most 24 hours, and never from one website to another. Pirsch is a German service and processes and stores the data within the European Union.

Alongside this, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures without cookies the number of visits and page views, load times and other performance data. This measurement remains in use. It is not carried out for visitors from the European Union, because Cloudflare does not place the script for them.

Technically necessary cookies

Our website may place technically necessary cookies that are required for the site to function correctly. Think of session cookies for the training platform (once this is available) or cookies that remember you have submitted a form.

These cookies contain no personal data, are not used for tracking or advertising, and fall under the exception of Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. No consent is required for them.

Third-party cookies

AIAdopt places no marketing, advertising or tracking cookies. We use no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no retargeting and no other advertising technologies.

Our website uses Cloudflare (hosting) and Resend (email). These services may place technically necessary cookies for their service to function (for example DDoS protection by Cloudflare). These cookies are not managed by AIAdopt and contain no personal data.

Cookie banner

Because AIAdopt places no tracking cookies or analytics cookies that process personal data, a cookie banner with prior consent is not legally required. Should this change in the future, for example by adding new services, we will adjust this policy and the website accordingly.
